Jonah 2:1 (NIV) In my distress I called to the Lord, and He answered me.

*****

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. Psalm 112:5

*****

1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil. 23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

*****

Psalm 23:1-4 The Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

*****

Matthew 11:28 – Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

*****

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3

*****

Psalm 62:7 “My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.”
