Accusations
ACCUSATIONS
No one likes to be accused of anything they did or didn’t do. When we point fingers at others, they are apt to get angry. When we accuse them of doing something, we aren’t approaching them as God wants us to and there is bound to be hurt relationships from our accusations. Rather than accusing others, let’s be sensitive to their needs and approach them in love. Let’s be sure we ask gentle and loving questions to understand what happened and why. Let’s pray for them and look for ways to help them rather than accuse them. Acts 21:30a “The whole city was rocked by these accusations, and a great riot followed.” (NLT) Dear Lord, we know there is a time and place to speak our minds to others. We know we need You first in our lives before we approach someone about what they are doing wrong. We know accusations only brings anger and rage. Help us to approach others in a loving and kind way so we do not stir up anger but instead show Your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Let’s be sure we know the whole story before accusing others. If we want to keep peace in a relationship, we should go to God for direction before accusing others. Accusations do not help anything and only make things worse. When we accuse others, we are setting the wrong example to others. Accusations bring anger to the situation rather than peace. Acts 7:54 “The Jewish leaders were infuriated by Stephen’s accusation, and they shook their fists at him in rage.” (NLT) Focus: Remember the results of accusations and show others love and understanding. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...log_id=5977123
