As I posted earlier, forgiving others and ourselves. If God forgives me, why should I not forgive myself. As I have posted, I was seeing a counsellor at 6 years sober and she asked me why I had not forgiven myself? I looked at her and said, I did not think to ask. I did not feel worthy.
I had to make an amend to my God. I went to communion, the first time in many years because I had so much guilt about still smoking, that I felt it was wrong to go to church, because it was a big lie. The old tapes got in the way of living a new spiritual life. ![]()
