Default What To Do

Letting the things that are happening right now in all of our lives as they unfold when we're all new to recovery is our first lesson for all of us. Our need for wanting to control everything will get in the way of all of us doing this and also gets all of us into a lot more trouble than any of us can handle at this time. What we all need to know is that we'll all always be much better off and happier when we learn how to do this. As long as we're focusing on what's best for us and what we can do, that will make it easier for us to stay here in recovery. No matter what it is that's happening, us wanting to control it usually turns out to be a disaster for us, and can ruin any chances we may have of being able to stay in recovery. It's never been worth it to any of us when we all try to control something we have no business trying to control, especially when it costs us the very thing we all need, and that's for us to be in recovery. For us to learn how to let things happen as they may when we're all new is the best way for all of us to give ourselves the best chances of staying here and is the best thing all of us can do for ourselves.
