Bold Faith

BOLD FAITH

Many of us know what real faith is. We know when we have faith in God, we don't worry, doubt and lose hope. We know we don't waver. We aren't afraid. We aren't shy to share His Good News. We know who He truly is so we wait patiently having faith that He will follow through with His plan. Bold faith is knowing God is in control and we don't shut down, stray away or take control. Bold faith comes when we depend completely on God knowing He can be trusted to keep His promises.

Hebrews 10:23 "Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise." (NLT)

Dear Lord, we do have faith in You. We know life is so much more comforting and peaceful when we stop trying to do things for ourselves and we give You control. We know Your outcome is much better than ours could ever be. We know we can trust in You to give us bold faith when we read Your word, pray and follow through in obedience to You. Thank You, Lord, for keeping Your promises since the beginning of time. In Jesus' name. Amen.

When we have bold faith, we will wait patiently for God to answer our prayers.

When we have bold faith, we will be brave and courageous stepping out to do God's will.

Psalm 27:14 "Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD." (NLT)

Bold faith is when we depend on God completely knowing He can be trusted to keep His promises.

Bold faith is stepping out and knowing God has given us a spirit of power, love and self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." (NLT)

Focus: It is by faith we understand God created everything, has a plan and will take care of us.
