CHOOSE JOY

No matter what is going on in our lives right now, we can choose joy. No matter what our situation is, we can be joyful. Making the decision to choose joy in all we do will not only benefit us to grow stronger in our walk with God, but it will help our relationships with others. We will find ourselves encouraging others. We will live in more harmony and peace. We will be a better example to others. Today, choose joy.

2 Corinthians 13:11 �Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.� (NLT)

Dear Lord, today we choose joy. We know life has its ups and downs. We know things don�t always go as we plan. We know there are others who seem to push our buttons. The devil uses these things to tempt us to anger. The devil wants to remove our joy. We ask You today to help us to be joyful. We need You to help us. We choose You. Be with us today Lord and remind us to be joyful in all things knowing You have a plan and purpose for us. In Jesus� name. Amen.

When we choose joy over anger, God will use us to glorify Him.

When we choose joy when we are struggling, God will give us peace.

When we choose joy in the midst of pain, God will comfort us.

When we choose joy and resist temptation, we will become stronger in the will of God.

When we choose joy when trouble comes our way, God will give us opportunities to share His word.

James 1:2 �Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.� (NLT)

Focus: Choosing joy is up to us. When we do, God will reward us with His many blessings.
