Default Just For Today – Part 2 — Day 5 - Put On Endurance

Just For Today – Part 2 — Day 5 - Put On Endurance by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put on…ENDURANCE
“For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God,
you may receive the promise:”
Hebrews 10:36 (NKJV)

Today’s Action:
Endurance is the ability to last, to stand firm,to hold up under pressure, to tolerate adversity.

Believers, we all have a job to do here on this earth.
We are to do God’s will.
We have a race to finish–it is our life–and we have been given just so much time here on earth to complete the plan and purpose God has prepared for us to do for Him.

Therefore, If we are to run the race and finish well then we must have endurance.
For when our faith is tested and our beliefs are questioned, we need to put on endurance to last and stand firm.
When we are under pressure at work or at home, or our lives don’t seem to be running very smoothly, we need to put on endurance to keep going in God’s direction and not give up.
We need endurance so we can always keep believing that God has a good plan our life.
When things go wrong, when we are afflicted, or bad things happen, we need to put on endurance so we can thank God for everything and believe that He is working it all out for good…somehow…in some way…

So, Just For Today, let’s put on endurance so we will be ready for anything this day brings….and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith,… Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV)

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
