Default Our Resuce

Pain is optional but it will come. All the work we do daily in recovery has this in mind. None in recovery are cured and unless we take countermeasures daily our ongoing problem continues to cause pain for us. These are the facts of our recovery. Recovery never fails but we can fail the practice of it in our life and when we do things will get worse for us that's a guarantee. Never better, always worse. What more motivation do we need to keep practicing recovery daily for the rest of our lives. Well if we do need more just look to see what has happened to those of us who decided they didn't need to practice recovery daily. This is painful and awful to look at. This thing we all have is going to do what it's going to do to us unless we decide we had enough. No one is going to come to our rescue waiting for this to happen has been the end for many of us
