Cost What It May
We all paid dearly for our decision to go down the path we did. We were all warned but failed to take any of these warnings. We had become willing to pay the price, cost what it may, for our right to do just as we pleased. We drank even when we didn't want to and then we couldn't stop. I now know I was still being looked out for even when I couldn't see it. The things that kept happening to me while I was going down that path all had a common theme that was becoming more and more noticeable the longer I kept going down that path. The seat I now sit in at recovery meetings wasn't free, the price I paid was very high. Only we can decide what that price is going to be, some will pay more than others. How much are we willing to pay? What's it going to cost us ?
