How To Love Ourselves

What we all want for each other in recovery is the very same thing that all of us want for ourselves, that none of us were able to give to ourselves, before any of us got to recovery. Being in recovery allows for us all to have for ourselves what it is we're all lacking and don't know how to get for ourselves. When we do what recovery suggests we all will be giving this to ourselves, and in many ways what it suggests that we do is the complete opposite to what a lot of us have been doing before we got to recovery. When we are new to recovery we'll have to trust that this is the right thing for us to do, and we can see that it is by others who have done what is suggested and it has worked for them. From being in recovery all of us are taught how we can learn how to love someone else, and from doing this we all learned how to love ourselves. This is something that all of us needed to know how to do before any of us got here that all of us were not able to have for ourselves.
