Default Christmas Countdown Day 13

Christmas Countdown Day 13 by SGLY Ministry

DELIGHT
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
What does it really mean to “delight yourself in the Lord”? Delight means: a high degree of pleasure or enjoyment; joy; satisfaction.
Therefore, to delight yourself in the Lord would mean that you would find a high degree of pleasure in Him.
He would satisfy you, bring you joy, and spending time with Him would please you highly.
In this delight, the desires of your heart would surely be those that would be pleasing to Him, therefore as you delight in Him, your desires would be fulfilled.

Today take some time to rejoice over all He has done for you.
Be highly pleased that He has a plan for your life.
Revel in the fact that as you delight in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart.
Just enjoy belonging to Him today!

DELIGHT–Take great pleasure in Him today
I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.” Psalm 40:8 (NLT)
REVEL–Be highly pleased with Him today
I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.Psalm 119:16 (NIV)
ENJOY–Rejoice over Him today!
In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
Psalm 94:19 (NKJV)

Only 12 days left until Christmas!
Make each one count as you keep your focus on Him this season!

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
