Default The Greatest Gift

Your Daily Inspiration

Every Christmas I find myself searching for the perfect gift for those I love. Because I love them so much, I want to find the perfect gift that is especially designed for them.

This year as I was looking for gifts, I found myself thinking of God and the wonderful gift that He gave us over 2000 years ago when He became flesh in the form of Jesus and came to earth as a baby. The more I mediated on that selfless expression of love and all that it represents to me I am all the more thankful to Him because His gift was the best gift possible to save a dying world.

God gave us the greatest gift so long ago because He loves us so much. It was then and still is today His will that we all be saved and spend eternity with Him.

Beloved, my prayer for you during this Holy season is that as you unwrap your gifts from each other this Christmas that you will take the time to reflect on the ultimate Gift given to you by the Supreme Gift-Giver years ago and I pray that if you do not know Him as you should may you purpose it in your heart to take the time to discover Him. He is waiting.

Merry CHRISTmas!

“Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling [His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift]!” 2 Corinthians 9:15 AMP

Father, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your only begotten Son Jesus to be born this day for humanity. His birth is truly the reason for this season. May we always remember and give You our thanks. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen
