Pizza Donut
Pizza Donut - Servings 4
*I first made this using two cans of crescent rolls then later on I made it again using just one can of crescent rolls and both times it turned out well. Ingredients * 2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls * 1 cup marinara sauce (or spaghetti sauce) * 1 package of sandwich pepperoni, Canadian bacon or sausage of your choice or all three! * 2 cups shredded pizza or mozzarella cheese * 2 tablespoons butter, melted * ½ teaspoon garlic powder * any other toppings you like! The toppings I used were Ragu spaghetti sauce, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, small can mushrooms drained, diced green peppers, and Sargento Italian Cheese blend. Instructions 1. Preheat oven at 375. 2. Lightly spray baking pan, pizza pan or cookie sheet with cooking spray. * I used a pizza pan. 3. Unroll crescent rolls and lay in a circle with the pointy ends facing outward. *I laid the crescent rolls on the pan like in the picture below. 4. Spoon marinara/spaghetti sauce over fat ends of crescent rolls. Put the sauce around the middle but not too close to the edge. 5. Lay pepperoni around the crescent ring. Or spread toppings evenly around crescent ring. 6. Spread shredded cheese out around the crescent ring. 7. Fold ends over and tuck underneath crescent ring. 8. Melt butter and mix in garlic powder. 9. Brush butter mixture over top of crescent ring. 10. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Pictures below are how I made mine. pizzadonut12062014.jpg Pizzadonut12062014A.jpg pizzadonut12062014B.jpg
