Cowboy Stew
1 to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1 med onion chopped 2 cloves garlic minced 1/2 cabbage, diced 1 can stewed tomatoes 1 can kidney beans drained 1 can sliced potatoes drained 1 can corn drained 1/2 can green beans drained 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp sugar Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup beef broth 2 cups water Brown beef and drain grease then add onion and garlic and simmer until onion is soft. Then add all other ingredients with beef, onion and garlic in pot on stove top. Bring to boil and then lower to medium and cook for about 30 minutes - stirring occasionally. Then cut on simmer for an hour or so until you are ready to eat.
