Default Remain Faithful

REMAIN FAITHFUL

When we are concerned about something or are having hard times, we tend to think about that situation a lot. We wake up with it on our minds. We dwell on in through the day. We run ideas and scenarios through our head over and over. It's really hard to keep it off our minds. However, God tells us rather than worry we are to trust in Him and remain faithful. That means despite the struggles, despite the suffering, despite the hard times, our faithfulness in Him will get our minds off of our suffering and on Him. And He will give us hope for the future.

Revelation 2:10 "Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life." (NLT)

Dear Lord, You remind us so many times in Your word we should remain faithful. You show us how faithful men and women of God got through hard times. You reveal to us the successes of those in the Bible who remained faithful. We see people who are around us who are at peace and have hope because of their faith in You. Help us to remain faithful to You despite our situations. We know You have the right end in mind for us and our faith in You will help us draw closer to You and remain in fellowship with You and other believers. In Jesus' name. Amen.

When we remain faithful to God, He will give us the crown of life.

Remaining faithful to God in all things requires we prepare ourselves in prayer and in reading His word.

Our temptations and tests are only temporary and we can get through them when we remain faithful to God.

What greater peace can we have when we remain faithful to God!

When we remain faithful to God, we will remain in fellowship with Him.

1 John 2:24 "So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father." (NLT)

Focus: Remain faithful to God and know He always has our best interest in mind.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
