Default Suffering Is Good For Us

SUFFERING IS GOOD FOR US

When we are suffering we may not be in the best mindset to remember it is good for us. However, in the big scope of things, suffering is good for us. God teaches us through our suffering. We are more aware of His presence in our suffering because we are looking to Him for comfort and peace. We usually reach out to His people asking for prayer when we are suffering. Suffering can bring us closer to God and to those who love to serve Him.

Psalm 119:71 "My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees." (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for our suffering. We don't like to have struggles and pain in our lives but we have to remember it is good for us. We have to remember suffering can remind us draw closer to You. Suffering can help us be more dependent on You. Suffering can help us rely on Your grace and mercy knowing we can't get through tough times without You. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Suffering can bring us closer to God and to those who love to serve Him.

When we choose to read and meditate on God's word, we will understand the need for suffering.

Suffering can remind us to draw closer to God.

Suffering can help us remember to seek out godly people to support us and help us through the tough times.

God wants to rescue us when we are suffering and we should give Him all the glory.

Psalm 119:117 "Sustain me, and I will be rescued; then I will meditate continually on your decrees." (NLT)

Focus: The Bible tells us to always be joyful. Even in suffering because we can know God will be with us.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
