Default FIGHT THE 'DUMPS'

FIGHT THE 'DUMPS'
I just refuse to be discouraged!!!!!!!!! I want to take the example of that little boy who had made a boat (he was so proud of the small model) and was sailing it. He was with his parents at a lake. The afternoon was rather windy. Seems the wind filled the sail - sent the boat out of his reach and then as it capsized went straight to the bottom.
Since that part of the lake was over his head, there was no way of getting the boat back. He did swim out a little way where the boat was last seen. So what did he do next?? He said, "This is a good day for kite flying." So he goes off and gets a kite to fly.
Do you get the drift? His "philosophical composure" is well with copying.
Like I said, "I refuse to be (really - down deep in the water) discouraged. This guy is worth imitating. My friend, if you have failed in something you have attempted, the very circumstances which caused your failure may be an advantage when you try something else.
The word to myself and you is very simple:
Don't sit down and sulk because your boat has gone to the bottom.
The capsized situation caused by some "wind of the world" may be that which carries "your kite" higher than you ever dreamed.
Gal. 6:9, "Let us not become weary in going good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we will not give up."
My prayer for you
Lord, bless this one right now. If they are going through a situation that has turned them over and under, may they place themselves in your hands. Help them not to give up, but to keep on keeping on WITH YOU. True, they can't change the wind, but they CAN change the position of their sails.
Amen
