Sometimes we identify ourselves with other people's words. People quote the Big Book and other literature, but that isn't who they are.

Sometimes we look at something and we all see a different picture. We are individuals, walking with God. I was told that we were Spiritual beings, trying to live an Earthly walk.

When you can’t get your loved ones to support your sobriety:

1. I follow my sobriety no matter what.
2. I show compassion in helping my loved ones understand my sobriety.
3. I ask my loved ones to support my sobriety.
4. I answer questions about my sobriety without getting defensive.
5. I know that my loved ones love me without fully grappling with my sobriety.
