Thanks for sharing. The best option is to take your God with you and ask Him, what your options are and what He would have you do.
There are often meetings in the area, I guess a lot depends on how far you are willing to go to stay clean and sober. You can Google for the AA meetings in the area and look to see if a meeting is accessible. I went to Belleville to visit my sister several years ago and dialed the AA number and NA Hot Line in the area. I found a meeting of each, but it is a big city. Remember it is one day at a time, doing the do things to keep clean and sober. Do you feel you can do that or are you willing to risk your sobriety, if the company you are keeping will trigger you, and you make the decision to use. They can't make you drink. You can't blame them if you do. I suggest phone numbers of people who you can call for support. You never have to go there alone. Look to see if there is someone else there not drinking and drugging, you can support each other. Keep yourself safe.

Just realizing I said skiing when you are talking about snowboarding.
We are meant to have fun in recovery. Just keep yourself safe when doing so.

Love the kitties Jo.
You can go here to search for AA meetings - http://www.aa.org/lang/en/subpage.cfm?page=28 and here for NA meetings http://portaltools.na.org/portaltools/MeetingLoc/ .
