Being confused when we're new in recovery is something that all of us with this problem have to get used to and deal with. None of this is going to make any sense to any of us at first, and it's not that recovery doesn't make sense, it's just that we're not able to at this time to be able to make any sense out of recovery because of what has happened to all of us from having the problem we all have. This is where we all begin to start to learn something about what it's like to have faith, and to be able to begin to trust again. We're all able to do this by us realizing that those who are in recovery before us are not out to get us that instead they want to give something to us, something that's priceless for all of us who have this problem, that none of us are able to go out and get on our own for ourselves. For once in life we are going to have to do this without us having to be sure that things will turn out alright for us. All of us in recovery have had to do this. Since we've all been burned before by us doing this this is what's keeping all of us from being willing to do this again, but this is the only way that any of us will ever be able to make any sense out of our life, and us being in recovery as well.
