Seen only from the symptoms of having it, do any of us get a glimpse of this problem we all have. And as hard as it is to see it, it's just as hard to understand what it means to have this problem, but it's not hard for anyone to see the results from us having this problem, what it does to our life. Our only chance that any of us have is to arrest this problem, and that comes from us being in recovery. The longer we go on living with this problem even after we've started arresting it the more we'll need recovery because this problem is always progressing. All of us can coast for a while under the protection that comes from of being recovery, but sooner or later we'll see and understand that we are not cured of this problem, and that we'll always will have it, and most importantly that we'll always need to be taking action against having it or we will succumb to it. The best that we can hope for from us being in recovery is not to have that happen to us, and after we see this happen to those of us who have this problem who are not in recovery, that will be good enough for all of us who are in recovery.
