Default Encourage Believers

ENCOURAGE BELIEVERS

We all get sidetracked at times. There are those who start their day with full intentions to get certain things accomplished only to be discouraged at the end of the day because very little was done. Things happen during the day that are out of our control. Things happen to get us distracted, unmotivated and upset. However, we are to stay focused on God and He will help us remember what it is He wants us to do. And we are to encourage others to stay true to Him as well so they wont get off track.

Acts 11:23 When he arrived and saw this evidence of Gods blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord. (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for Your word which helps us to know who You are and what You want from us in life. Help us to remember to stay true to You in all things and know sometimes You distract us because we are going down the wrong path. We want to focus only on You and Your blessings so we will be filled with joy and encouraged to stay true to You. Help us to remember this and to remind others as well. In Jesus name. Amen.

When others get sidetracked and move away from God, we can share His word with them to bring them back to Him.

There will be times when we get off track but the best thing we can do is prepare ahead of time by memorizing Gods word to help us.

God will give us what we need to stay on track for Him. He will remind us of His blessings and fill us when joy when we stay focused on Him.

God wants us to love and encourage all people not just those who we feel are like us.

Jesus died for us. The Holy Spirit lives in us. God has a plan for us. We all have a reason to be enthusiastic and encourage others.

Romans 15:17 So I have reason to be enthusiastic about all Christ Jesus has done through me in my service to God. (NLT)

Focus: We have reasons to be joyful and stay focused on God. All of our reasons are good enough to share with others.
