Default Heart for the Lord Day 4

Heart for the Lord Day 4 by SGLY Ministry

CLEAN HEART
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
David prayed that prayer after he had sinned against God. Why did he pray for a Clean Heart?
Because he knew that his sin had separated him from God and that God was the only One that could restore him back into a right relationship.
Because in God’s word it says:
…your sins have hidden His face from you.” Isaiah 59:2 (NKJV)

A Clean Heart allows God to see us because there is no sin blocking His view. When we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, we are forgiven, made pure and given a Clean Heart that God can see and bless. He can then show us His way to live an abundant life, one that is pleasing to Him and joyful for us.

Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord, today I ask that You create in me a Clean Heart so You can see me. I do not want any sin blocking Your view of me.
I want to have a heart that is clean and ready for You to fill with Your love and blessings.
I give thanks that Jesus came to wash my heart clean with His blood.(1 John 1:7)
I believe and receive that cleansing in my life today so I will have a Clean Heart that will shine for You for all eternity!

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
