No Words
NO WORDS
Although words can help certain situations, there are times when there are no appropriate words to say. There are times when we are to just be quiet and wait. There are times when we are to be silent and listen. There are times when we are to sit still and think. Words don't always solve situations. However, prayer and meditation and faith will help. We can listen to God, take time to listen to others and take time to sit and think about what it is God wants us to do. Sometimes there is no need for words. Psalm 22:24 "For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them, but has listened to their cries for help." (NLT) Dear Lord, help us to be like You and be willing to listen to those in need. Sometimes there is no reason for us to talk. We should simply listen. When we keep our ears open and mouth shut, we can learn so much about the needs of others and we can learn so much about You. Help us to be open to listen to You as well and know what You want us to do. In Jesus' name. Amen. When we keep our ears open and our mouth shut, we can learn more about God. When we take time to listen to a friend in need, we can better know how to help them. Sometimes we just need to be still and listen to God so we will know what we need to do. If we want to know how to help others, we have to be willing to listen. God wants us to take time to be still and listen so we can honor Him for who He is. Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world." (NLT) Focus: Pay attention and listen out for those who are trying to tell us how they need help. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...log_id=6211967

Like this, the shortest and most powerful prayer is "Help!" I believe a thought is a prayer, you don't have to say them. What you give out is returned, often 10 fold, so keep your thoughts clean and sober. Sobriety means soundness of mind. When there is a lot of chaos going around in our head, it is hard to hear the good orderly direction we need each day to maintain our sobriety.
