Default God is bigger than our problems

For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (NLT) 2 Corinthians 4:17

As big as our problems may seem, we are always bound to find someone whose problems are bigger. In some small way it is comforting to know our troubles won't last long in comparison to eternity. Yet, the glory we gain for our troubles is much greater and lasts forever. Be consoled in knowing your hardships make Christ's suffering for you even more personal, He knows what you are walking through. When your troubles get too big, look beyond this life and see Christ up close and personal.

As they say in AA, "This too shall pass." That means to good and the not so good times.

My God never went away, I did. I had a resentment against rules and regulations, especially when I saw people, not walking their talk. I told myself, if I can't beat them, I will join them in their ways. I had so much guilt over the years for smoking, drinking, unhealthy relationships, abusing my medication (a lot I didn't need because I wasn't able to be honest with myself and others), and other people, my tongue was a real weapon, so in today, I try to use it to help people heal and put them back together again. It is what I needed to do to make Indirect amends for all the people that were no longer in my life.

My God can handle all things. I just have to remember to put them in His Hands, and not take Him for granted. Most of my problems were of my own making, and as I have said before, my spiritual adviser said, "Call them challenges, problems you can stay stuck in. Challenges you can over come, especially with your God's Help."
