Default God Is Understanding

GOD IS UNDERSTANDING

God’s understanding is far greater than our own. When we feel left out, abandoned, sad or helpless, we can know God understands. No matter how confused we are about a situation, we can know God understands. His power and understanding is beyond anything we can comprehend. We can’t possibly understand what God understands; however, we can draw close to Him, read His word and pray. And from His understanding, He will give us what we need.

Psalm 147:5 “How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we don’t realize the depth of Your understanding. We don’t know to what extent You understand. We can’t fully measure it, completely write about it or even totally comprehend it. Your understanding is far greater than what we can even imagine. And we give You the glory and honor for all You know, all You understand and all You are. And we thank You for being our Creator, our Savior and our Friend. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

No matter how much we try, we will never know all He knows or understand all He understands.

We shouldn’t limit our abilities in life based on what we know, but instead allow God’s knowledge and understanding allow us to be all He wants us to be.

We can’t always explain why things happen and, at times, we may never understand. But we can always know God understands and has a plan.

If we aren’t careful we can waste too much time trying to figure out all God knows and understands and not get anything done that He calls us to do.

We can’t measure what God understands because our limited reality. But because of His understanding, we can lean on Him in all things.

Isaiah 40:28 “Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.” (NLT)

Focus: Decide to accept that you will never know the depth of God’s understand. Then thank Him for all He is and all He has done.
