The Way WeThink
We all like the way we think, rarely would we ever think we need to change it, but none of us like the trouble it causes for us and for others all because of the way we think. When we begin recovery and after all that we've been through it's still very hard for us to see how wrong our thinking is for us and for others. We still want to hold on to the way we think because mainly it's all we know, and the fear of changing the way we think. It feels like we'd be losing something, if we were to allow for our thinking to be changed, and that turns out to be a good thing. If we'd lose all that trouble we're causing ourselves and others just by the way we think. Don't worry though we'll always think the way we do, and it's only because of us living by the program of recovery that we ever notice that we still do have it.

After 41 years of sobriety this is still a task but well worth applying the 12 Steps to each attempt. With the help from HPI found it valuable to the quality of my sobriety.
