Ask yourself, Self?
Quote:
I am also reminded that this is a program of reflection and I can find myself, negative or positive, from the people around me. It takes one to know one. It is so important to work Step 10 to the best of our ability in today, no matter how long you have been in the rooms of recovery. I use to say, "I am not as bad at that!" Then it got to be, "Am I really that bad?" It ended up after honest appraisal, that I was that bad, and some times worse! Other times, I saw improvement, yet realized that God and I had more to work on. Just because you deal with something once, doesn't mean it won't come around again. If you aren't looking, it will sneak up on you and bite you on the a$$, when you least expect it because you have allowed yourself to become complacent. Look at me, I am just F.I.N.E. (Frustrated, insecure, neurotic, and enjoying it).
