Proverb A Day – Day 31 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Proverb: Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die, Proverbs 31:8 [NKJV]

Today’s Thought:
If someone is appointed to die, he has no voice.
His sentence is given and will be carried out
…unless…
someone comes and speaks for him to plead his case.
We need to pray for those who need to be saved.
We need to pray that their minds and eyes will be opened to the truth, so they will be given the chance to choose between life and death.
We need to pray that Jesus will come into their life to save them and set them free before it is too late.

Today’s Action:
Today I will:
Resolve to pray this prayer daily for my loved ones, friends, neighbors or anyone I know who is unsaved.

Today’s Prayer:

I pray for___________who needs to be saved.
I pray that_________’s mind and eyes will be opened to the truth
I pray that____________will be given the wisdom to choose between spiritual life and death.
I pray that Jesus will come into___________’s life to save and set____________free before it is too late.
Thank You God, for hearing my prayer and for what You will do in ________’s life. In Jesus name I pray.

Hebrews 6:19a 'We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.'

- The hope we have in God is like an anchor for our souls.
- With His help we can stand secure, even in the storms.
- Your anchor in God will not fail or disappoint you.
- Cling to the hope you have in Him, He is your sure foundation.

Prayer: Lord, I hold onto the hope and the confidence that I have in You. You are the One Who will keep me safe until the storm passes by. Amen.

The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephania: 3:17

Today's reminder for us is "He is Mighty to Save". Whatever is your care and concern for the day, whatever you are worrying about, whatever was going through your mind all night long keeping you wide awake, however bad the situation is, please remember "He is Mighty to Save". Indeed He is.

How powerful these words are! What an assurance we as believers have! Let me repeat the verse once again: "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

Now let us all say it together: "The LORD my God is with me, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in me, he will quiet my with his love, he will rejoice over me with singing."

Let us say it all through the day - loud and clear: "He is Mighty to Save!" Amen! Have a blessed day and a blessed week ahead!

Get Your Joy Back

Have the difficulties and pressures of life taken your joy away? Today is the day to get it back! It’s time to get excited about your future and learn to enjoy each and every moment.

If you don’t make the conscious effort to keep your joy, as time goes by, you’ll get more and more solemn. Not only will the enemy rob you of the joy that belongs to you, he’ll rob your family and friends of the gift that you are to them. When you have joy, you can use that joy to influence the people around you for good. Joy is strength, and when you have joy, you can offer strength to the people God has placed in your life.

Today, draw the line in the sand and say, “That’s it. I’m not going to live another day negative, discouraged, sour and grumpy. I’m going to put a smile on my face. I’m going to live my life happy.” Choose to let your faith in Him fill you with inexpressible and glorious joy so that you can be a blessing everywhere you go!

A Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You for Your love. Thank You for choosing me and molding me into Your image. Today, I invite You to fill me with Your inexpressible and glorious joy so that I can be a blessing to the people You have placed in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

When To Rejoice

1 THESSALONIANS 5:16 KJV 16 Rejoice evermore.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:16 NASB 16 Rejoice always;

If you only rejoice when things are perfect, you may not rejoice much in this life.

Why miss out on something so pleasant?

ROMANS 12:12 NRSV 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.

You can rejoice in hope! That means to rejoice ahead of time.

Why? Because you expect deliverance. You know God's blessing is coming your way -- because God is faithful. So rejoice now!

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 NIV 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

God never changes. He's always good. Focus on Him and you will have something to rejoice about.
