Proverb A Day – Day 30 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Proverb: Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Proverbs 30:5 [NKJV]

Today’s Thought:
God has given us His word which is the living Word, Jesus,
and His written word, the Bible.
Both, are truth for our lives to protect and guide us.
All we have to do is believe, receive and trust.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)

Today’s Action:
Today:
I will believe and trust in God’s Living Word, Jesus
I will believe and trust in God’s written word, the Bible
I will believe that God will defend and protect me always

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Genesis 15:1

In His Time

Thought for the Day

"There are times that, while we struggle through our daily lives, the wait for His answer can sometimes seem painful. We wonder if we are not heard... or, are we forgotten? We might ask why others seem to receive His favor while we press on with no relief in sight... As He works for you in unseen ways, keep the faith that your day is coming."

Today's Word

"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you..." (2 Peter 3:-9 NIV)

Today's Prayer

Father, the wait can be so hard. Give me the ability to be patient while You work for me. I know You will act in Your time. Amen

Free from Condemnation

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1 AMP)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Is there something that you feel guilty about? If you have repented to God, the Bible says He takes your sin and throws it as far as the east is from the west. He casts it into the sea of forgetfulness. That means God chooses to forget your sins! They are completely removed. Gone. Don't let the enemy make you feel guilty for something that happened your past. The enemy is the "accuser of the brethren" and he works overtime to try to bring you down with false accusations. Be confident that if you've given it to God, He doesn't remember it. You are free from condemnation through the blood of Jesus Christ. The next time the enemy brings up your past, just declare "I am free from condemnation in Jesus' Name!"

A PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for setting me free in Jesus! Thank You for forgiveness. Thank You washing me clean and making me new today. I receive your grace and mercy so that I can be a vessel used by You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Today’s Scripture: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." (Matthew 5:6, NIV)

Get Filled Up!

Sometimes, it’s easy to get wrapped up in taking care of the people around us. You may find that you’re always giving, taking care of the children, working overtime at the office, or helping that friend who is struggling. And that’s all good. But if you’re not careful, you can end up feeling rundown. That’s why you have to take time every day to get filled back up. Your first priority should be taking care of yourself and making time to get into the presence of Jesus. Throughout scripture, we see that in God’s presence, there is fullness of joy, fullness of peace, and fullness of victory. In His presence, you’re refreshed and restored. That’s why it’s so important to take time every day to read your Bible and meditate on His promises. We have to be diligent to have quiet time with Him.

Today, take time to get alone with God and just say, “God, I love You today. Thank You for my life, for my family, for the opportunities You’ve given me. Lord, I know every good thing comes from You.” When you live like that, with your heart connected to His, you’ll be refreshed, restored and filled up for the journey of life ahead!

A Prayer for Today: "Father, thank you for filling me with Your strength. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, so that I can be righteous in You. I hunger for Your truth and seek You first. Draw me to You and keep me close to You always in Jesus’ name. Amen."

Joel Osteen

Numbers 10:35 'Arise, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered! Let them flee before You!'

- No evil, no enemy, no sickness and no challenge can stand before the Lord.
- In His presence all these things must scatter and flee.
- Let the Lord arise in your heart, life and situation.
- May every plan of the evil one be destroyed and removed in His precious name.

PRAYER: 'Arise, O Lord' in my life and situation, and may all the enemy's schemes and plans be scattered and removed so that I can enjoy Your presence and purposes in my life. Amen.

Kind Regards
Pastor Andrew & Vanessa Roebert
