In a department store, a difficult customer and a remarkably
patient sales associate were struggling to find common
ground. Nothing the associate suggested seemed to be good
enough.

Finally, the finicky shopper huffed in frustration, "Isn't
there someone smarter who can assist me?"

"No," the associate replied. "The smarter one saw you coming
