May 1: Stand still and be quiet. The level of your faith depends on your ability to keep your emotions under control in every situation and circumstance. Do not be afraid. Establishing and maintaining your spiritual connection to Me is of utmost importance. Trust Me to keep you safe, says the Lord. Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

May 2: Live in the moment and refuse to project out to assume the future outcome of any situation. Stay present with Me, says the Lord. Walk in the Spirit despite the chaos that surrounds and encroaches on your personal space. Access the peace and great strength that I have made available to you. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

May 3: Rise up in newness of the Spirit. Position yourself to receive all that I have for you, says the Lord. I have made available all that you need. Refuse to dump down in the pit of victimization and self-pity. Set your mind on what you know to be true and good. I will draw you up from the depths in an instant if you will seek Me with all your heart and trust Me. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

May 4: Patiently evaluate your options in every circumstance, and get wisdom. Diligently take the time to discern spiritual atmosphere so that you can stay in the flow of My Spirit, says the Lord. There will be a few twists and turns in the days ahead, so stay calm and do not be afraid. The way has been prepared before you. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

May 5: Change will come when you set yourself on a different path. Examine yourself to see how you got to this place in order to understand what you have to do to make changes. Have you been driven by your own desires and lusts for money, power, or vindication? It is time for you to make righteous decisions that emanate from spiritual purity, says the Lord. 1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

May 6: Watch for open doors that will bring you closer to Me, says the Lord. I will make a way for My Church to come into perfect order, but each of you as a member of My body must exercise your will and desire to come higher. Set your heart and mind to get your priorities in order and actually choose to put Me and My kingdom first. Then, everything else will fall into line. Ephesians 4:14-16 ...we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

May 7: I speak to those who have been overwhelmed and feeling lost. You need to reset and realign. Intentionally find your place in the realm of the spirit in relationship with Me, says the Lord. This is the only place where you belong and can feel whole again. It is your comfort zone. Come and take your rightful place in My kingdom. Luke 17:20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."

May 8: Beloved, I want you to be available to Me every moment of every day. Only those who put aside their own, worldly agendas are fit to do My work, says the Lord. I am looking for individuals who truly belong to Me that I can direct to fulfill My purposes and who do not hesitate to do all that I ask. Will you be one of those? Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

May 9: Live in the light and holiness of My presence. Find the place of unity in the Spirit and maintain that spiritual connection. Stay the course as I help you to overcome the distractions and obstacles that take you from Me, says the Lord. Be strong and focused, and do not deviate from righteousness, peace and joy. I am with you and in you. John 17:22 "And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one."

May 10: My beloved people, refuse to allow your daily grind to cause you to fall into a spiritual sleep. Remember that your time on earth is temporary and does not even come close to carrying the same weight and significance of eternity. Take this time to re-evaluate your priorities, and adjust your value system so that you actually develop and maintain personal relationship with Me, says the Lord. Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

May 11: This is an unusual time when you feel like you are out of sync. But, you need to know that this is a transitional time before you settle into a better place both naturally and spiritually. Do not despair, but take life one step at a time knowing that the difficulties you experience now will not last forever. Be patient and lean on Me, says the Lord. Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

May 12: I hear the Lord saying, regarding this great struggle that you have been involved in, consider the life of the butterfly for he must struggle and continue to struggle until he comes out and breaks himself out of the bondage that has been placed to hold him in a position of birthing. This has not been a bad place because you will come forth, and you will walk out. You will bring God into the situation more profoundly than you ever have before. And, your struggles with regard to that situation that you are thinking of in this moment will be resolved as you break out and gain flight even as the butterfly does. It is the season to come forth.

May 13: Guard your heart and mind so that you can establish yourself in a place of peace. You need to be at peace before you can properly discern your spiritual environment. And, you need to know the condition of that environment before you can do effective warfare against the enemy of your soul, says the Lord. Use your authority to establish and maintain purity. Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

May 14: The changes that you have endured have positioned you for a new beginning. What has been torn down has effectively made a way for building up that which is more appropriate and vital at this time. Put the past behind and look to the future, for there are things that you must do to fulfill your purpose and destiny in My kingdom, says the Lord. Rise up in new hope. Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return to the Lord; for He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

May 15: When you walk the road of redemption you are fulfilling My desires and will for you. Do not deviate from this road of righteousness and peace. Do not become aligned with those who disparage others, but rather be an encouragement. Any other position is one of being haughty and against all that is godly, says the Lord. Develop a heart of respect and kindness. Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

May 16: Difficulties are inevitable, but you must set yourself to endure the hardship. Quitting is not an option. When you do not know what to do, ask Me and I will answer you. Trust Me to strengthen you even when victory seems impossible. Do not listen to the lies of the enemy, and refuse to be afraid. You will look back on this time as one of momentary, light affliction, says the Lord. Be strong and resolute. 2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

May 17: You can do this; you can get through this challenging time. I will renew your strength and help you move forward, says the Lord. But, you must set your mind on where you are going and not on where you have been. You can arise to new heights both naturally and spiritually. You must believe to achieve. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

May 18: Do not get sidelined by the fear of failure. This is one element of life that always works against you. When temptation comes recognize that if you entertain it, the door will be open to undermine your effectiveness. Instead of withdrawing or retreating, recognize it as an opportunity to break through the self-imposed limitations into greater freedom, says the Lord. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

May 19: Chaos abounds in the world around you, but you can and must create your own peaceful environment. It is easy to get caught up in problems and troubles that you have no control over. It is up to you to establish your own space that will reflect personal integrity, strong faith, tranquility and spiritual freedom, says the Lord. Then will you be able to maintain your relationship with Me, and I will help you. Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

May 20: Wake up and be vigilant. The enemy is going to stir up envy and jealousy, which will cause you to make comparisons between yourself and others. This will result in unnecessary offense. But, you can easily escape this trap by getting away from self-focus and emotional neediness. Walk and live in the Spirit, says the Lord. Forgive and move on. 2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

May 21: In a vision I saw someone climbing out of a dry well. And, I heard the Lord say to those who have been stuck and stagnant: Use your energy to get up and climb out of your darkness. Fruitfulness doesn't happen to you, but is the result of your efforts to do what may seem impossible. Rise up and walk strong. Rise up and put on My strength, says the Lord. I will do through you that which you cannot do alone. Psalms 30:11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.

May 22: Do not beat yourself up. The enemy of your soul does a fine job of that already. And, I want you to know that if you are doing something against My will and purposes, I always bring conviction so that you can change your mind and heart. You must forgive yourself so that you can proceed. You are worthy of relationship with Me, says the Lord. 2 Thessalonians 1:11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.

May 23: Refuse to allow your strong convictions to become judgments against others. No one has yet achieved perfection, and to believe that you are more perfect than others is a function of pride. I would have you see through My eyes and know that love and acceptance are what you must strive for, says the Lord. Where the Spirit is there is love. Matthew 7:3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?"

May 24: You will find it helpful at this time to re-organize your thoughts, intentions, and course of action to accommodate new elements that you have not considered. The challenge is to refrain from stubbornly clinging to the past and old ways of doing things. Be flexible and willing to move with the flow of My Spirit even when it feels strange or foreign, says the Lord. Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

May 25: Be diligent in seeking for wisdom to solve puzzling or difficult situations. Every problem has unique elements that require creative solutions. I will give you the revelation you need if you will only ask. I want to help you see and know what to do. I will not withhold the information you need to move forward, says the Lord. Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

May 26: You have been trying to break free from oppression on various levels, and I tell you truthfully that you can now do that. But, you have to be honest with yourself and others in authentic expression of who you are in Me, says the Lord. Do not compromise your values by trying to fit into a mold fashioned by what others deem to be acceptable. Be free! John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

May 27: Stay right with Me, says the Lord, and refuse to allow any criticism from others to cause you to become too introspective. As you seek to have a clean heart and pure motives, I will bring truth and conviction accompanied by mercy and grace. Good and lasting change can only come by the Spirit and not by some measure of carnal perfection. Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

May 28: Beloved, I am asking you to re-purpose the energy you spend on criticism and judgment to become tolerance and love. Anger and vitriol will only result in greater darkness and separation from Me, says the Lord. Kindness and consideration for others will elevate them and lift you up as well. Remove the veil that separates you and rise up to fulfill My mandate. John 15:12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

May 29: Settle yourself. You are about to enter into a new level of spiritual sensitivity. But, quieting your inner self is vital to supernatural perception. You must optimize your position in the Spirit to take advantage of this next phase of growth as you listen and look beyond your natural senses, says the Lord. Proverbs 8:32 "Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways."

May 30: You may not be able to change the world at large, but you can make a difference in your personal space and environment where you have influence and responsibility. There is no need to feel powerless. When you perform one act of kindness or express one act of generosity you sow a seed of righteousness in the earth. Do not diminish your potential to make things better, says the Lord. Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.

May 31: Separate yourself from those who are divisive and want to pick a fight. Do not respond to their aggravation. Walk away from unrighteousness, and find your way into My presence, says the Lord. I will give you wisdom and the grace to avoid being drawn into chaos and contention. Guard your heart and mind. Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
