Getting sober takes honesty, and open mind, and willingness. Hope you will find information here to help you get sober. I suggest you pray for the willing to find what you need here, and the willingness to apply it to your life.

hello everyone
My name is Ruth, I am new to this site and I hope it will help. I've been addicted to coccaine for 18 years. I'm 41 and so very sick of this life.
|
Welcome Ruth, thank you for signing in and sharing. My son has the same issues and more and a self-admitted addict. Becoming aware and willing to do something about it is the first step, along with honesty as to whether you need help and willing to get it.
Hope you will continue to come and share with us. There are posts here for all addictions, but a drug is a drug. The problem was me and it was my thinking behind my disease, that kept me using for so many years. As they said to me, "Keep bringing the body and the mind will follow." I belong in just about any room you put me. I went to CA with an ex-boyfriend and they said, "Cocaine and all mind altering substance." I belonged to a Woman's group there and at AA and NA. One day at a time, it get's better. Life doesn't always get better, but I do. I get the tools to handle life on life's terms, and I was no longer alone. https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/i...h2R3OIzcx6WXNF |
Hello to all ... my name is Bonnie and I am an equal opportunity abuser and recovering addict, returning to the rooms and your forum. I found help and acceptance here before and got much just from reading the daily recovery readings, daily meditations and the stories from other members. I look forward to being a part of your community once again. Thank you and God bless you all.

Welcome Bonnie, so glad to have you back. Thanks for signing in and saying hello. Hope you will continue to come and share your journey with us.

Hi, My name is Pat and I am an addict. I have been in recovery since January 1989.
July 4, 1989 is my clean date/soberity. I call it Dependence Day! Those little paradoxes. I read the dailies in past years, but this is my first post. |
